Did you know that YOU are ENOUGH? If you didn’t hear your own spirit whispering that truth at some point today, please read it right here, right now. YOU ARE ENOUGH. No matter what your personal history, family background, resume, education, or demographics currently are… none of that can change that you were created for greatness. YOU have it in you. Not because I say so, but because God says so. If you have not felt your heart gently remind your of that truth today, I challenge you to pay attention to this moment. You are reading this for a reason.
We all have little demons that pop up and make us question our worth, question our efforts, question why we even bother – but do not let the demons win. You are a fighter inside. The first thing you can fight for is your own truths. Fight to know you are enough. Fight to believe you are doing enough.
Fight to crush the demons and believe in yourself once and for all. Fight to be YOU!! You have such deep greatness inside you that is waiting for permission to pour our and shine. The world needs your light right now more than ever.
I know the doubts show up, barging in without permission. I know there can be that nagging voice that causes you to wonder if you will fail, be embarrassed or really not measure up. The nagging voice is wrong. YOU ARE ENOUGH. I promise you. Let God show you what He can do with you and me. Remember that you can be enough and still be a little rough around the edges. Let God work those details out. He is a master at making weak things strong and delights in helping you become your best self.
I love this painting “Women Fighting Demons” by Caitlin Connolly Art. We are in this together. Everyone is fighting battles, seen and unseen. Above all else, we need to know we aren’t alone. We need to know that even if we doubt ourselves, others can see our greatness. We need to fight and believe in each other. We need to let others know that they are accepted, loved and more than enough. And the cool part is that when we stand in our own power and decide that we are enough, others have permission to do the same. Give that gift to those around you.
It doesn’t matter. What matters most is that we learn to love ourselves, and others, despite the flaws. Don’t wait until you are a certain weight, until you have the perfect life, or until you have everything figured out. That day may never come and those things won’t show the world who you really are anyway.
The greatest happiness belongs to those that know they are enough and recognize that same divine nature in others. Let us be that type of people and stand strong, never backing down to the lies that tease us into hiding our greatness. Rise up! Choose in. Decide you are enough right now. You can choose to just stand tall in your own power and OWN IT!!!
I am not suggesting that you pretend you no longer need to grow or change, but I am inviting you to be gentle and loving to yourself in the process. Your joy and happiness depend on it.
